It was a pleasure to buy a rug for my son from JS Rugs. Sami and Joanne are knowledgeable and helpful. My son, living in Los Angeles, needs the homespun quality of a Moroccan rug to warm his apartment up, and the rug we got does just that. Thank you, JS Rugs, for giving us a taste of Morocco.

We are thrilled with our new rug! It has completely transformed the room in a wonderful way. The quality and condition are exquisite. They have a very generous return policy, but I’m writing this review the very next day because we are absolutely certain this rug will be in the family for a long time. We love it! There are so many gorgeous rugs in the store. The owners were so kind and extremely thoughtful with suggestions, packing, etc. The whole experience was a delight. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!

I was looking handmade Moroccan rug for a long time and walking by small shop with beautiful inventory; called and was able to schedule an appointment and visit later same day; owners are wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful quickly gained a feel my taste. The rug looks gorgeous!!! Very happy with purchase!

Searching for a quality hand-knotted rug become more of a challenge than expected: although a few well-known corporate resources are available, most were inappropriately priced or simply lacked the desired size and design combination. This was a quest that spanned many frustrating months. Online options exist, but I prefer to support a local business; both for physical access and simply keeping commerce in the community. I stumbled across J&S Rugs through a Google map search. Sami welcomed us to his cozy shop at the Clark St. Station entrance. Adhering strictly to CV19 protocols, he was respectful, patient, and casually conversational. Seeking to accommodate us within our limited schedule, his wife Joanne actually ran over a rug from storage. They also shared images of product to be received directly from Morocco over the following weeks. Though we didn't purchase that day, we were impressed with the personal service and sincere care they both had for their products and customers.
More than a month later, we returned to view a recent acquisition. Of course, Sami remembered us (giving so much of his time to discuss product previously). Though uncertain this rug was appropriate, we were encouraged to take it home, assured returns were permitted for any reason within 30 days. No pressure, no worries. Though a beautiful unique product, it did not work for our space. Sami responded pleasantly to our return request, suggesting we view several more newly-shipped rugs at our convenience or, if preferred, simply refund the full cost. Happily for us, we found these new rugs could all be a potential fit. Sami again gently guided us to a final decision based on room size, floor type, shape of space, and design preference. We brought Attempt #2 home, and loved it instantly. A gorgeously thick Taznakht design, its color and patterns provided instant welcoming warmth to a cold space.
The whole process was a delightful breeze; more like chatting with a new friend than conducting a transaction. I highly recommend J&S Rugs for their outstanding quality products and, especially, the earnest warmth of Joanne and Sami themselves.
