Moroccan Azilal Rug Carpet – Berber Beni Ourain – Berber Symbols – 6’6″ x 3’3″

Charming medium-sized rug from the Azilal region of the High Atlas Mountains. The background of this rug is a natural (undyed) beige with abstract and geometric figures woven in a dark brown and black.

The design also includes some Berber writing. Nice knotted fringe on both ends.

This is a pile rug but it is more supple than other hand knotted rugs. The underside has a finished look and can be used as well.

Rug measures 6’6” x 3’3” (198cm x 99cm) which includes the fringe.

Weight is ~6 1/2lbs (3kg).
